Volkswagen is currently busy in another new assignment lately, and the reports say that this time, the company is working to release another new model of its Touareg car. This will be a notable update after the second-generation Touareg which is on a sale since 2011. The changes to this existing Touareg will be visibly striking with both enhancements in the technology and the external look of the car. The latest news on this new model 2015 Volkswagen Touareg Spy is that a prototype of this 2015 Touareg has already been spotted undergoing a testing on a public road in the Alps.
Although the new model of the Touareg will be a 2015 model, it will be released in the fall of 2014 only. Engineers currently are working on making new enhancements in the model including a capacitive touch-screen mounted in the dash. With this screen, the driver will be able to control quite any of the vehicle functions simply by putting his command on the screen. In fact, there will be provisions for voice commands or steering wheel controls as well. This makes the 2015 Volkswagen Touareg Spy a truly updated version.
The look too is to undergo great improvements as there will be camouflage gear on the front and rear sections. Probabilities are there the lights will be changed, a revised grille will be incorporated, and some new bumpers will be seen. Some other possible specifications of the car include a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6, an increase in the horsepower from 225-horsepower to around 260 horsepower and these may also be accompanied by a four-cylinder engine! Moreover, Volkswagen may also update the latest model to compete with its contemporary Porsche Cayenne by imitating its new ‘E-Hybrid’ plug-in option.
