Deon’s black Mk1 2-door was a complete project car as you can see from the pics. You can see it was stripped down more than an exotic dancer could ever do, and it was then rebuilt from the shell up. Once everything was sorted out, under the hoos went a 2.0 8-valve motor srouced from a Mk3 GTi that runs on Gotech fuel management system, a Cowley free flow exhaust and the combination uses a nice short ratio FFZ gearbox from a new Velociti. The suspension is brand new with 60mm drop kit and it rides on 17” Flawless wheels wrapped in Dunlop rubber. Inside the old 2-door has been nicely upgraded with a new dash from a Velociti complete with the cluster. The seats are also from a Velociti. There’s some custom ICE that is made up of a set of Pioneer subs, two Star Sound amps, a 3000w monoblock and a 1000w version. There’s a Pioneer split system with some Pioneer 6x9s too. It’s headed up by a Rockford Fosgate Mp3 player.
The part he likes most sems to be the sunroof, he says “IT CAME OUT OF A 1998 BMW E36 325!” He ended in saying: “This car was stripped to only a shell and completely rebuilt so every thing works and she run like a dream.” Nice going!
