The pricing details for the Volkswagen e Up! are out now and company makes it sure that the car too will be making its official appearance in the forthcoming 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show! So, although yet some more time is left for the automotive lovers to eye the model and admire its beauty and technologies, for the time being one can be very well wooed by the pricing of the car which is being announced to go under 26,900 euros.
The company makes it public that the cost for the final production version will be 2.5 times more than the regular variant. This makes one thing sure that the price of the e Up! will be under 26,900 euros (23,150 GBP / 34,525 USD) and will cost more than one of its contemporary, the Nissan Leaf. The Nissan Leaf comes at a starting range of 23,790 EUR (20,515 GBP / 30,520 USD).
The price listing of the beautiful “green” vehicle also clears it that the price set for the model is inclusive of the battery. Although not much is yet leaked about the VW vehicle, still what can be know so far is that the car will be powered by an electric motor generating 82 HP (60 kW) and 210 Nm of torque (155 lb-ft). Moreover, it will take only 12.4 seconds for achieving an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h and the top speed to be delivered by it is 130 km/h (81 mph).
