Next-gen VW Golf could be built in U.S.



With Volkswagen’s Chattanooga put wheelwork up for Passat production, rumors are circulating that the U.S. works could also manufacture the next-generation Golf.

While there is no official information, an unknown publication told InsideLine that Golf creation is under consideration. This would seemingly be a valid move as the new Golf starts at $17,965 which is $1,970 much than roomier Jetta.

As we reportable originally this week, the next-generation Sport is scheduled to be introduced in new 2012 or early 2013. It is slated to couple on the new MQB architecture which gives also jibe the redesigned Audi A3. This, by addition, could also imply the A3 leave be constructed in Tennessee.
