The Volkswagen Polo R Cup India puts forward an exclusive talent endorsement system for young aficionados’ and provides a grand podium on which they can demonstrate their skills. And the Pune lad Oshan Kothadiya won his first ever Polo R Cup race as he maintained his lead from start to finish at Round 4 of the JK Tyre Volkswagen Polo R Cup 2011 at the Irungattukottai Race Track, Sriperumbudur, Chennai.
The Pune youngster left behind the ace sitter Munjal Savla around the outside of the first corner to lead without looking back. He successfully concluded the race in 00:20:51.892 and was narrowly followed by Munjal Savla with a timing of 00:20:53.825. The final position on podium was seized by Rahil Noorani with a timing of 00:20:59.083. After winning his first ever cup Oshan said that he was contended with his position and enjoyed the race. His car acted as a nice companion and did not give any trouble being continuously in control of him. He also eulogized the Volkswagen Motorsport team for their immense support and giving him a fabulous car. Oshan is now all geared up for the upcoming races and needs to focus an aim of keeping this ace position and doing his best to come closer to Vishnu in the final event.
Munjal Savla too was ecstatic at taking podium position and although he did have a good position but not better than Oshan. Prithvraj Siddappa, Chief of Motorsports Volkswagen India accoladed all the drivers and added that it was truly a breathtaking race for contestants as well as viewers.
