Speed & Sound Issue 104 out now!
Get your hands on the latest Speed & Sound Magazine, issue 104’s cover is graced by a hot Vdub Mk1 Golf. In case it looks familiar we featured Bibi a few weeks ago – Speed & Sound have the lowdown on every single bit of info for Bibi’s Mk1 Golf.
More from the Editor:
We also have coverage of the first round of the AutoZone Sport Compact series, and while it wasn’t too well-attended, there were some power cars running some power times, most notably the time from Richard Jordaan. You’ll have to buy the mag to see that though. Also with the events, we have a BMW Club track day at Kyalami, a Dutch Auto dyno day in Meyerton, Nationals and a HRC run. On that Honda subject, we have the most visible car in Africa, a Ballade V-Tec from Moz in Day-Glo orange paint with a JDM tweaking or two under the hood. There’s also a sweet Scirocco in the mag, as well as some insane little cars. We found an old Mini and a new Smart, both fitted with Toyota turbo lumps.
On the ICE side we have a few events and we feature a banging tow truck, yup, it’s pretty damn mean. Accompanying that we find a Navara on ‘roids, a screen tech and some words by JK. If you want more, there’s a land speed/time record attempt buy SavSpeed and his mates, a wheel guide of sorts and we cap everything off with an interview with SA racing legend, Willie Hepburn.
