Volkswagen Golf VII GTD modified by ABT



The 184PS Volkswagen Golf VII GTD, on being found as neither sporty-looking and nor powerful, was being made to undergo some enhancements and power-upgrades on the joint efforts and decision of the VW and Audi aftermarket specialists at ABT Sportsline. The outcome is the new ABT Golf VII GTD, which is now claimed to be more stylish, powerful and stronger!

The CEO of the world’s largest tuner of cars produced by the Volkswagen Group, Hans-Jürgen Abt is of the opinion that the ABT Golf VII GTD is just what it was expected to be, a compact diesel car with a stylish power package. He says that the objective was to develop the 184PS Golf 7 GTD into a sportier version, and it has been accomplished by the new one. The striking additions into the new Golf VII GTD are the aerodynamic kit and the power upgrade that gives it a smart finish.   

Going into the details of the new additions of the Golf VII GTD, one can now find it with aerodynamic elements like front spoiler and grille, trunk lid attachment and side skirts. Furthermore, some more new things to be seen in it are differently covered mirrors, thin eyelids on the headlights, four-pipe exhaust and rear skirt insert at the back, 2.0-liter diesel engine, 210 PS (207 hp) from the previously found 184 PS (181 hp), a torque of 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) in comparison to the earlier 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) and so on.
