Finally the most anticipated and talked about Volkswagen GT Up! concept has been revealed. Volkswagen is very serious for their future with the Up! series. The array that is already crammed with a car to suit every need and taste now gets a section for racing aficionados with the new entry-level Volkswagen Up! being festooned up in a sporty edition.

The Volkswagen GT Up! features a commanding yet elfin package bringing all the integrity of the GTI in a shaping hot hatch with the driving pleasure of both the type into a compact city-friendly package. Following the trend as that of the Volkswagen Golf GTI and Volkswagen Polo GTI, the GT Up! concept showcases the similar brand approach. At the facade there’s a honeycomb grille, LED lighting and a large central air dam in the bumper bar, while at the rear there’s twin exhaust tailpipes, a roof-mounted spoiler and a sporty rear bumper with a black diffuser. Interiors of the Volkswagen GT Up! concept features sporty superfluities with blue checkered material.

The dashboard and upper door trim panels of the GT are colored in piano black, harmonizing the black roof-liner. Volkswagen is currently not revealing much about the kind of engine that can possible be used in the new GT Up, though there is a strong possibility that the model can use the same engine that is currently offered in the Polo and Golf. The Cockpit of the GT Up! Encompasses exhilarating furnishings that is new for the up! line-up. All in all the new model features some breathtaking features like a tech-ready dash with an exclusive hold for smart phones and the archetypal GTI tartan-trimmed cabin arrangements, dual exhausts at the rear end, a brand new body kit and superior wheels that round off the features pretty well.

The new up! packs together all the merits of a Volkswagen into a compact city-friendly package. Volkswagen has not revealed much about the commencement of production of GT Up! but it is assumed that Australia will see the customary range of Volkswagen Up! models towards the end of 2012.
