Volkswagen Lupo Spy Pics

The new Volkswagen Lupo was spied during a testing session in Australia with its almost identical twin, the Skoda. This next generation prototype is the 2 door, 4 seater version, but there are plans for a 5 door model to be released in the year following the release of this small version. There are options for diesel and petrol engines with talk of an electric model being released later down the line.
The VW Lupo is placed in the City Car category and will therefore contain a small engine. The Skoda, also pictured here, is very similar in style with only minor detailing differences. With the camouflaging it is almost impossible to tell the difference between the two. The Lupo‘s design is based largely on the VW Up! Concept Car that was revealed at the 2007 Frankfort Motor Show.
