Volkswagen Passat Sport uncovered in Chicago Auto Show 2014



Volkswagen officially unveiled its all new Passat Sport in a premiere at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. This new Passat from Volkswagen is regarded as the latest addition to the Passat Lineup.

As per the German automaker, the new Passat Sport will be positioned between the Passat SE and the Passat SEL. The newly unveiled model has been fitted with some very interesting tools and equipment.

Some of its features include the fog lights, the 19-inch Luxor style alloy wheels and the rear spoiler. The new Passat Sport will be available in a total of three colors including the Candy White, the Urano Gray, and the Tungsten Silver.

In terms of interiors, the changes are quite limited. Some of them include sport seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, and heated front seats. Additionally, alloy pedals, faux carbon fiber trim, special floor mats and stainless steel door plates are among other added features.

The Volkswagen Passat Sport gets its power from a four-cylinder turbocharged engine of 1.8 liter. This engine produces a total output of 126 kW with a peak torque of 249 Nm (184 lb-ft). The prices of the Volkswagen Passat Sport model starts at 27,295 USD.
