Volkswagen Amarok Dark Label recently made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013. The Amarok pickup was debuted with some very interesting upgrades by the automaker.
The Amarok Dark Lebel, as the name goes, is a model designed on the basis of ‘Trendline’ equipment level and is fitted with dark add-on parts. VW fitted the vehicle with 18-inch black coloured ‘Durban’ alloy wheels to give their only pickup a rugged look.
Moreover, the vehicle is also fitted with window tint and smoked tail light. The B-pillars of the pickup are covered with a layer of black trim.
This is not all, the darkening process continues with black door mirrors and handles, as well as black rear bumper and sidesteps. However, silver is used for the styled underbody guard at the front in offset.
As far as interiors are concerned, the Amarok Dark Lebel is covered with Alcantara seats and the floor is covered with velour floor mats. Besides, as standard, an RCD 310 system with multifunction steering wheel is also fixed. Looking at the comfort factor, VW has included heated front seats and heated windscreen washer nozzles.
Customers can order the special edition Amarok pickup in Starlight Blue colour or any of the colours available for the Amarok Trendline. The vehicle is available with engines of two 2.0-liter diesel units with 138hp and 177hp respectively.
Though Amarok Dark Lebel is only available as a DoubleCab, it can be combined with any engine or drivetrain versions such as rear-wheel drive, permanent four-wheel drive or switchable four-wheel drive.
